Pumpkin Patch #1

A couple weeks ago my mom didn't have school so Landon and I joined her to go to the Pumpkin Patch.  We went to Walter's in El Dorado (there's also one right by our house but we were going there with friends so we didn't do that one).  We had a blast.

Still a little shrimp.  :)  Haha, still love him!
He LOVES pumpkins.  He yells PUMPKIN!!! every time we see them.  He was in heaven.
We saw a whole lot of this.  Him running away trying to get back to the pumpkins.  :)  (And no, I didn't dress him to match the pumpkins.  I was running behind and grabbed the first long sleeve shirt I knew would fit out of his closet.  It just happened to be all matchy-matchy...)

He loved this goat.  He would have stood there and talked to it all day if we had let him.  He really wanted to get to one that was standing far away and wouldn't come over though.
He loved these slides.  They went really fast and I wasn't sure I would even fit through with him and me but it worked out and he laughed the whole time.  The kid loves him a good slide.

When we got done he grabbed our trash can lid and headed back up the hill.  :)  So he got to go 2 more times with Talia.
 Looks overjoyed huh?
He was adorable on this thing.  We put him in and Talia took off and he turned around and waved and said bye-bye.  He was ready to go!
Walking across the bridge.  He did really good seeing as he is scared to walk over things he can see through.  It's kinda funny because he will just freeze and whine but as soon as you grab his hand he takes off.  Just needs to know he won't fall through I guess.
He found these little balls on the ground that fell from the trees and was in heaven.  We put him in this maze and over and over he grabbed a ball and went around and threw it over this hay bale.  Not sure what he thought he was doing but I bet he did it over 10 times.
 Swinging in "car-car."  Stinkin' cute.
This is the best picture we got together.  No, I didn't mean to match us either.  Again with the running late thing.
In the pumpkin patch.  And no, he's not supposed to have his paci but he had a huge meltdown on the ride to the patch because it was lunchtime and naptime and he wouldn't stop crying.  So I shoved the paci in his mouth and he let me snap a couple pictures by the pumpkins.
He had a lot of fun (I did too).  He loves to be outside and run around which is good and makes for great naps! :)

I do have to ask, why in the world are pumpkin patches so expensive?  I mean seriously, they charge a ridiculous amount to just be able to walk around and then the "extra" things are more and you have to buy your pumpkin on top of that.  All I have to say is they must make a KILLING during pumpkin patch season.  Ridiculous.  Ok, stepping off soapbox.

Walters is crazy expensive but we love it. They actually decreased the price per pound of their pumpkins this year if you can believe that! We never do the extra stuff...between the field, the barn, the slide and the jumping pillow our kids always have tons to do. It can sucker you in though! I guess that is how they afford to have a business that is only open one month out of the year!
